Further motivation to keep up with the blogging has arrived in my inbox...the identity of my secret pal for the One Skein exchange! I'm both excited and relieved to see, after visiting her blog, that we have quite a bit in common. Excited, because it makes it more fun to think about putting together choices for the exchange, and relieved because I was worried some poor soul would end up with me as a secret pal and I'd have NO CLUE how to work their interests into the exchange.
Now, I only have to hope that the person who ended up stuck with me isn't shaking his or her head in dismay after seeing my pathetic excuse for a blog. I'll try to do better. Really.
Starting with pictures, which will be coming as soon as I get off my lazy rear and take some. The garden's actually looking pretty good, and I think I can crop most of the weeds out of the pictures. Oh well, if not, they'll add authenticity. Or something. I also really need to take a picture of my FLAK, aka the Dirt Sweater. So named because it's the color of dirt, which was the idea, as it's for The Boy, who will be wearing it while working outside in the winter (all six days we get of winter, anyway). Maybe I'll motivate myself to get pics up by the weekend. This blog could definitely use some color.
